German Open 2019

While the TURTLEs are resting from their tournament in Portugal, our care robot HERO is on his way to the German Open. He is ready for his debut!

Every year our service robot takes part in the German Open in Magdeburg. This year HERO makes his debute. On Tuesday the 30th of April, the @Home team travelled to Magdeburg. On Wednesday and Thursday there is time for the last preperations. On Friday and Saturday the competition really starts. The robots from all ten @Home teams will try to score as many points possible on several challenges, such as taking the trash out and serving drinks. On Sunday the 5th of May, the finales take place.

About Tech United

Tech United is a multidisciplinary team of (former) students, PhD’s and employees of the Eindhoven University of Technology that focusses on the development of robotics. Knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer algorithms are used to solve problems. Tech United's home base is the RoboCup stadium at the Eindhoven University of Technology.
